Listen in to hear him tell me about what it was like to encounter the arts in that atmosphere, and how it impacted him. Gary is a practicing artist himself, so we also talk about his methods of making and what moves him to create his work. We chat about inclusivity in the arts, what needs to change, and how his nearly 200 episodes of interviews with various artists and cultural practitioners have influenced his view on the sector.
