Ministry of Health brings vital health services to La Fargue residents

In a concerted effort to improve women’s health and raise awareness about breast cancer, the Ministry of Health’s Breast Initiative held a successful Health Fair at the La Fargue Wellness Centre. The event, which coincided with Breast Cancer Awareness Month, provided free breast screenings, pap smears, cholesterol checks, and essential health education to the residents of La Fargue and surrounding areas. The initiative’s primary goal was to emphasize the importance of early detection through regular screenings, proper self-examinations and hands-on demonstrations empowering women to take proactive steps in monitoring their health.
