Minnesota Timberwolves vs. Dallas Mavericks: 2023 NBA Preseason in Abu Dhabi

Anna and Anji talk all things Wolves Preseason as the Pups took on the Mavericks in their first meet up on Thursday 10/5, in Abu Dhabi! On the offensive side, Kat's three-point shooting was a standout feature, reminiscent of his FIBA performance. Rudy's performance included him actually catching the ball and blocking shots, but we hoped to see him dunking a bit more instead of laying the ball in just to have it roll out of the bucket. There were impressive moments of synergy between Kat and Rudy, with both players celebrating in unison after Kat's and-1 plays. Shake Milton made an early impact, hitting buckets and showing promise in the rotation. Troy Brown and Shake's pairing appeared promising, as did Mike Conley's ability to hit shots and involve Rudy in the offense.
