The Minnesota Twins willed their way to an 8-4 victory in Friday's series opener at Fenway Park. Byron Buxton left the game in the first inning after a slide into second base. Joe Ryan started and pitched extremely well, surrendering only one run and striking out seven Red Sox in six innings.
