The Minnesota Twins lost on Opening Day to the Seattle Mariners, 2-1. Joe Ryan started and struggled with his command, surrendering a two-run homer to Mitch Haniger in the first inning. The homer ended up deciding the game as Robbie Ray pitched extremely well for Seattle.
