Minnesota Vikings Dismiss GM Kwesi Adofo-Mensah Amid Executive Shakeups

The Minnesota Vikings have officially dismissed general manager Kwesi Adofo-Mensah after a four-year tenure characterized by a winning record but limited postseason success. Despite receiving a contract extension just a year prior, the executive was let go following a disappointing 9-8 season that failed to meet the high expectations of team ownership. While the organization searches for a permanent replacement, Rob Brzezinski will oversee football operations through the upcoming draft cycle. The article highlights that although the team reached the playoffs twice under his leadership, they were unable to advance past the opening round. Additionally, the report situates this move within a broader landscape of NFL coaching and front office changes, including various coordinator hirings and staff updates across the league. This leadership transition marks a significant pivot for the franchise as they seek new direction for their football operations.
