Jesus perform this incredible miracle by feeding five thousand men (or somewhere in the realm of 10,000 people), who were following Him because of His teachings. Jesus takes compassion on them because the are sheep without a shepherd. When this world reveals its insufficiency, Jesus will always provide the sustenance we need.
