MIRACLE IN MOTION MARK 2:1-6 When Jesus returned to Capernaum several days later, the news spread quickly that he was back home. 2 Soon the house where he was staying was so packed with visitors that there was no more room, even outside the door. While he was preaching God’s word to them, 3 four men arrived carrying a paralyzed man on a mat. 4 They couldn’t bring him to Jesus because of the crowd, so they dug a hole through the roof above his head. Then they lowered the man on his mat, right down in front of Jesus. 5 Seeing their faith, Jesus said to the paralyzed man, “My child, your sins are forgiven.” (NLT) MARK 2:10 Then Jesus turned to the paralyzed man and said, 11 “Stand up, pick up your mat, and go home!” (NLT) MIRACLES CREATE KINGDOM MOMENTUM THAT CANNOT BE CONTAINED MARK 2:1-2 When Jesus returned to Capernaum several days later, the news spread quickly that he was back home. 2 Soon the house where he was staying was so packed with visitors that there was no more room, even outside the door. God’s kingdom was His theme – that beginning right now they were under God’s government, a good government. He also healed people of their diseases and of the bad effects of their bad lives. Word got out around the entire province of Syria. People brought anybody with a sickness, whether mental, emotional, or physical. Jesus healed them one and all, More and more people cam, the momentum gathering. (MSG) MIRACLES HAPPEN WHEN THE HEALER FINDS A HELPER MARK 2:3 …four men arrived carrying a paralyzed man on a mat. (NLT) JOHN 14:12-14“I tell you the truth, anyone who believes in me will do the same works I have done, and even greater works, because I am going to be with the Father. 13 You can ask for anything in my name, and I will do it, so that the Son can bring glory to the Father. 14 Yes, ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it! MIRACLES WILL REQUIRE YOU TO RAISE THE ROOF MARK 2:4 And when they could not come near Him because of the crowd, they uncovered the roof where He was. So when they had broken through, they let down the bed on which the paralytic was lying.
