Originally from India, he moved to California over a decade ago to Los Angeles to work in the music and tech industry. After working for Warners and releasing successful techno EP’s with Frequenza and Dance Lab records under his alter ego Karpe Diem, he decided to forge a new direction in organic and melodic house and techno post pandemic drawing inspiration from the likes of Bedouin, Dixon, Pink Floyd, Radiohead and Led Zeppelin. Moh Maya, which in Hinduism means - it’s all an illusion - is an alter ego, which was born out of his spiritual journey post pandemic in 2022. As Moh Maya, he has forged a new approach to organic electronic music with his new EP, Alchemist. By incorporating a more eclectic sound design, groovy basslines and driving melodies - he aims to continue to release music that truly resonates with parts of the cultures across the world with a message to celebrate life, music and love - through his music production and DJ performances."
