Dirshu Mishnah Berurah May 11, 2023 Today we conclude our study of the halachos of Tachanun. Today we have an interesting discussion regarding the prohibition to bow down -- even to Hashem. As we will see, there are manners in which this is an issur d'Oraysa -- a biblical prohibition, and manners in which it is an issur d'Rabanan -- a Rabbinical prohibition. There are also manners in which it is not prohibited at all. Indeed, we do bow down on Yom Kippur, but we must be sure to do so in a manner that is permissible.
