Misquoted | God Won’t Give You More Than You Can Handle | Pastor John Niewald

from Redeemer Church Podcast · host Redeemer Lutheran Church

Message Notes ”Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God.” - 2 Corinthians 1:3-4 The people God uses seem to have very little concern about how much suffering they would endure. Why? - Because they had a cause worth suffering for and a Savior worth suffering with. Temptation will try to unravel your humanity by convincing you that you are just an appetite that has to be gratified. The place of your struggle becomes the place of anointing God uses to bring his healing to others. This does not mean your suffering is always manageable. It means your suffering is always meaningful. Send questions to [email protected] Scripture 2 Corinthians 1:3-11, Acts 5:41, Acts 9:16, 1 Corinthians 1:3-4, Psalm 23 Support the show
