As a public school counsellor and the creator of the Children Developing Social Skills Through Literacy program, Dr. Price uses his books and programs to teach children the value of diversity, friendship, and inclusion. His debut book, The Adventures of Harold from the Hood: A Trip to the Park, won the prestigious Kingdom Indie Author Award for top children’s book and has since been adapted into an animated cartoon. With additional titles such as Friends Like Different Things, Fun Time Lunch Time, and When I Feel So Annoyed, Dr. Price’s work continues to inspire positive change and acceptance among young readers.
