TEATIME WITH MISS LIZ SERVES: LARRY FREEBORG June 30th | 4:00 PM EST TitleAlways At Choice: Finding Hope, Healing & New Possibilities Through Life’s Greatest Losses TaglineLoss may change your life—but it never takes away your power to choose. About Our GuestAt the age of 40, Larry Freeborg’s world changed forever. Within a single week, just after Christmas in 1979, Larry lost his 39-year-old wife to leukemia—and only days later lost the job he had held for eighteen years. Suddenly he found himself a widowed father of four young children, unemployed, overwhelmed by grief, and uncertain how he could possibly move forward. During one of the darkest moments of his life, while receiving treatment, a compassionate nurse shared a life-changing truth:“ You are always at choice. ”Those four words became the foundation of Larry’s life’s work. Today, more than four decades later, Larry is the author of Always At Choice: Strategies for Moving on After the Death of a Spouse or Life Trauma, founder of Stepping Through the Gate, and a respected coach helping individuals and business leaders navigate grief, fear, change, and life’s major transitions. Before becoming an independent coach, Larry enjoyed a successful corporate career spanning over twenty years with 3M Company and Medtronic, specializing in marketing, leadership, and business development. Now in his late eighties, Larry continues sharing his wisdom with others, reminding people that while life may change beyond recognition, our ability to choose our response remains one of our greatest gifts.
