People go missing all the time. Most show up eventually. There are some who vanish, never to be seen again. At Lake Anjikuni, an entire village vanished. The RCMP could find no reason for them to leave their homes and the villagers never returned. The Sodder family lost five children on Christmas Eve. The house fire was blamed but their bodies were not in the debris.
