Mission Success in Your Career: How BAMCIS Can Propel Your Professional Journey

Send me a Text Message. The old jarhead is back with great career advice. • The advice is guaranteed to work and is based on the BAMCIS concept: Begin planning, arrange for the reconnaissance, make the reconnaissance, complete the order, issue the order, and supervise. • This concept was taught at the beginning of his Marine Corps career and can be applied to any job or situation. • Begin planning by setting aside time to think about what needs to be done. • Arrange for the reconnaissance by talking to other people who may be involved. • Make the reconnaissance by gathering all necessary information. • Complete the order by delegating responsibilities to team members. • Issue the order by clearly communicating tasks and expectations. • Supervise and make yourself available for guidance and help as needed. • BAMCIS can be helpful in a variety of situations and should be customized to fit your specific circumstances. • To learn more, check out "Find a Job That Fits Your Life" on Amazon.
