Belangie Perez-Torres, RDH, serves as the Director of Hygiene Strategy and Operations at Aspen Dental and Vice President for Professional Development for the New York State Dental Hygienists' Association. Driven by a passion for empowering hygienists, Bela is dedicated to maximizing their potential in delivering exceptional experiences. During her time with Aspen Dental, she’s been at the forefront of new initiatives designed to break down barriers and help Aspen patients get the care they need. Always looking to the future of dentistry and hygiene, Bela has pioneered utilizing new technologies, systems, and workflows to improve patient experience. She was at the forefront of implementing voice-activated periodontal charting for dental hygienists in the organization and has helped transform in-person hygiene training sessions to blended modalities for scalability.
