Missionaries

Passing on Christian facts is easier than letting people into your life. Paul did both with the Thessalonians, caring for them with a nursing mother’s gentleness and sharing his joys, burdens and longings. God’s good news had made him less selfish and filled him with real affection. This love turns words about Jesus into service, keeps ministry going through setbacks, and shows the gospel at work in a life shared honestly.
