Psalm 46:10'He says, “Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.” ' "There's a season where your presence speaks louder than your actions." That was Pastor Jeff Jackson's counsel to a missionary living on the field under quarantine. The missionary was under the stress of knowing that his presence in the foreign country was being underwritten by contributors back home who were also struggling through a time of quarantine and possible financial strain. Pastor Jeff talks about the promise of God's presence as He walks with us through this season. Jeff Talks about the Tower of Siloam: 'Now there were some present at that time who told Jesus about the Galileans whose blood Pilate had mixed with their sacrifices. Jesus answered, “Do you think that these Galileans were worse sinners than all the other Galileans because they suffered this way? I tell you, no! But unless you repent, you too will all perish. Or those eighteen who died when the tower in Siloam fell on them—do you think they were more guilty than all the others living in Jerusalem? I tell you, no! But unless you repent, you too will all perish.” ' Luke 13:1-5 This is the second half of a podcast about missionary reciprocity. This is a season when we can learn so much from missionaries.
