Missions - Creating a Heart of Compassion | Ep. 2

from All In - A Kidmin Podcast · host All In A Kidmin Podcast

Today we’re talking about something that has the power to completely change the way kids see the world, missions. More specifically, kids helping kids around the world. Sometimes when people hear the word “missions,” they immediately think about airplanes, foreign countries, or missionaries on the other side of the globe. And while missions absolutely includes those things, missions is really about people. It’s about seeing a need and responding with the love of Jesus. It’s about helping others physically and spiritually. It’s about making sure children and families around the world know they are not forgotten, that they matter, and that God loves them deeply. One of the most powerful things we can do as leaders and parents is teach the next generation that they can make a difference right now. They don’t have to wait until they’re adults to impact the world. Through generosity, prayer, compassion, and obedience to God, kids can help feed hungry children, provide clean water, support missionaries, and help spread the Gospel to places that desperately need hope & need Jesus. Today we want to have a conversation about how we can raise up a generation of kids who don’t just attend church, but who carry the heart of Jesus for the world around them. A generation that understands missions isn’t just an event or offering, it’s a lifestyle of loving people and pointing them to Christ. So whether you’re a kids pastor, volunteer, parent, or ministry leader, we’re excited you’re here. Let’s dive into this conversation together.
