MISSISSIPPI LAWMAKERS CONTINE TO SCREW LIQUOR PERMITTED BUSINESSES

from The Clay Edwards Show · host Clay Edwards

The Mississippi House tried to give liquor stores, restaurants, and casinos a temporary way around the state’s massively backlogged Alcoholic Beverage Control warehouse, but it died in conference.  Your Mississippi Senate just looked small and big business owners square in the eye and said “screw you — you’ll wait for your liquor as long as it takes, and you’ll like it. Keep talking sh_t and we’ll snatch your ABC permit and start digging into you for tax evasion.”  Businesses are hurting, customers are frustrated, and the state bureaucracy just flexed its muscle again. Classic Mississippi.
