Missoula Gives 2023-Missoula City Band

Long-time dear friend of Trail 1033 Gary Gillett, Band Director of Missoula City Band drops into the LUNCHBOX with Mike Smith to chat about Missoula Gives 2023.Missoula Gives & Bitterroot Gives, an initiative of the Missoula Community Foundation, is a 26-hour celebration of the Missoula and Ravalli communities. It is a day to celebrate and support the role nonprofits and donors play in making our Missoula & Ravalli communities great.  For well over 100 years the Missoula City Band has been bringing free concerts to the community of Missoula. Their Missoula Gives campaign is a major component of their operating budget! Funds go directly to making music in the park, music purchasing, musicians, & sound! Donations received during Missoula Gives will enable the Missoula City Band to continue to  provide FREE concerts EVERY  Wednesday Eve during the summer at The Bonner Park Band ShellDonations can be made  May 4-5 at missoulagives.org
