Missouri Lands Top 2027 DL Commit

Missouri football just snagged a big win in the 2027 recruiting race with the commitment of three-star defensive lineman Dami Sowunmi from Indiana. Standing at 6-foot-4 and 260 pounds, Sowunmi brings versatility and production, having recorded 35 tackles, 5 sacks, and a fumble recovery last season. He chose the Tigers over strong offers from Indiana, Michigan, and Vanderbilt, citing his positive visit in March as a key factor. With this commitment, Missouri now has 10 players locked in for 2027 — including four defensive linemen — and is building momentum ahead of a crucial June recruiting stretch.
