Missouri Special Teams Revival | Missouri Tigers Football News

Missouri’s special teams are firing on all cylinders this season, thanks to Blake Craig’s triumphant return from ACL surgery and the arrival of elite coach John Papuchis. Craig, who led the SEC in field goals before his injury, is already nailing longer kicks than ever and looks fully healed. Papuchis, a proven talent developer from Florida State, brings NFL-caliber coaching and focus solely on special teams. Veteran long snapper Brett Le Blanc and transfers Brunno Reus and Mark Shenouda add depth and firepower—Reus boasts an elite kickoff average, while Shenouda brings punting prowess. With Craig back, the offense gains flexibility, and fans are buzzing with renewed confidence that this unit could be Missouri’s secret weapon.
