Missouri's Young Defense Stars | Missouri Tigers Football News

Missouri’s defense is rebuilding, but don’t overlook the raw, rising stars like Daeden Hopkins and JaDon Blair—both poised to become major forces. Hopkins, a four-star recruit and redshirt freshman, flashed seven tackles and half a sack in limited action, with coach Drinkwitz praising his work ethic and explosiveness, now focused on adding bulk. Blair, a six-foot-five transfer from Notre Dame, brings elite athleticism and play-reading ability, despite playing just 19 snaps as a freshman. Both are unpolished but undeniably promising—proof Missouri’s future is bright.
