Mistakes of others: how do you know they're really 'mistakes'?

from The Charles Kovess Show

This week's big idea that I discuss in this episode is the many public apologies being made by politicians, bureaucrats, health officers, chief health officers, footballers, lovers and defendants in many court cases. These people are claiming in many circumstances "I made a mistake. Please forgive me." "I made a mistake. I'm sorry." But, I say they often are not speaking the truth when they say this. They did not make a mistake. They acted badly or criminally or fraudulently or corruptly. They want you to think it was just a mistake. It's valuable to learn how to distinguish real mistakes from what I call fraud to cover all of those other types of behaviours; real mistakes versus fraud. Whilst I strongly advocate forgiveness in all circumstances if there's a genuine apology, and even if there is not, the consequences for the perpetrator of a mistake or a fraud, are very different. This episode will help you to make better and finer distinctions on this topic that will help you in your business, in your life, in dealing with family members, in dealing with team members in your business. I'm sure you'll find it helpful. Visit either one or both of my websites. For individual work and to start your Self-Awareness and Passion Quest http://charleskovess.com/For corporate and public programs http://www.kovess.com/Register to receive my regular Passion Points To Ponder via either website.Visit my YouTube page for the video-podcast https://www.youtube.com/user/charlesb...Listen to my fortnightly radio program, Mind Medicine, on TNTRadio.Live here:https://tntradio.live/shows/mind-medicine-with-tania-de-jong-charles-kovess/For direct emails and book orders, send me an email: [email protected] have a telephone conversation about your Self Awareness and Passion Quest, call me on 0412 317 404.Visit Charles Kovess' website: charleskovess.comReach out to Charles via email: [email protected] more about Charles and this show: charleskovess.com/show-notes/Visit and subscribe to the YouTube channel: youtube.com/@CharlesBKovessCharles also supports the Forever Freedom Movement — visit foreverfreedommovement.com to learn how children trapped in trafficking can be aided. Intro/Outro music credit: Music by bensound.comLicense code: SVLGLBBT9BLK1ZT4
