Vin is getting tired of the pampered life, although she doesn't realize how valuable the information she's been gathering will be to the crew. As it turns out, the life of Valette Renoux is rather dull in the eyes of Vin. Kelsier sends Vin to learn from Marsh for the afternoon. Marsh, being one of the most talented Skaa Seekers in the Final Empire, has a lot to teach her. We know that Vin is a double Seeker so long as she's wearing her earring. This allows her to learn MUCH more quickly than a normal Mistborn or Seeker.
