Vin is still recovering from a two week long hangover. That day long petwer drag with Kelsier nearly killed her. Kel seems to think that's a good thing; that she'll be stronger because of it. The crew has as a short conversation about whether or not to continue with their plan now that their army is dead, but before they can finish, Spook rushes in with news. The people of Luthadel are gathering in it's main square. There is only one reason the people gather like that; it's mandatory to watch the Lord Ruler's mass executions.
