Kelsier visits with a group of Skaa each night,bringing food, hope, and a messiah. When Vin and Kel arrive at a meeting place expecting a secret visit with Marsh. They find a room painted with blood. They don't know it yet, but Marsh has been made into a Steel Inquisitor, and that is an excruciating and messy process. Kelsier simply believes his brother has been murdered and intends to take an eye for an eye, and destroy the Pits of Hathsin.
