Misunderstood | Nathan Bentley

What if some of the things Christians fight about most aren't actually the most important things? In the opening message of the new Misunderstood series, Pastor Nathan challenges us to examine how tradition, assumptions, and even good theology can sometimes distract us from the presence of God. Through Matthew 16, the confession of Peter, Caesarea Philippi, and the gates of hell, we discover that Scripture is often deeper than we realize. But this message isn't ultimately about theology debates. It's about relationship. It's about seeking God's presence instead of merely accumulating knowledge about God. It's about allowing the Holy Spirit to transform our hearts instead of simply winning arguments. Whether you've followed Jesus for years or you're wrestling with difficult questions, this message will challenge you to pursue the presence of God above everything else.
