Mitchell Rabin Interviews Pianist Katya Grineva & Yogi Sharon Gannon

Wed., July 11, 6pm EST : Mitchell’s guests this week are performing at Carnegie Hall this Monday, July 16, brilliant concert pianist Katya Grineva and author, yogi and co-founder of Jivamukti Yoga,Sharon Gannon. Russian-born pianist Katya played her first nocturne at the age of eight and is now known for her deep connection to the Romantics. This concert marks her 18th recital at the world-renowned Carnegie Hall. Kayta is an avid yoga practitioner, which lead to her friendship with Sharon and subsequently formed the impetus for this concert. Sharon is the founder of the Jivamukti Yoga School and Jivamukti Method, created with David Life in New York City in 1984. Since, Jivamukti Yoga studios have opened all over the world, including in London, Moscow, Munich, Berlin and Sydney. Sharon is an artist, animal rights advocate, musician and an author of eight publications with the release of The Magic 10 and Beyond.  These two exceptional women will be performing together, “An Evening of Magic”  This “Magical Roundtable” will  look at each of their respective bodies of work and the confluence between them, with their aim being creating a more beautiful, better world.
