Mitchell Unlimited S01E04 - Peter Ford
from Mitchell Unlimited Hosted by ACE Radio
In this special "retro" edition of Mitchell Unlimited, we’re opening up the archives to bring you a timeless conversation with Australia’s leading show business and celebrity reporter, Peter Ford. For nearly 40 years, Peter has been a fixture across Australian radio and television, usually at the crack of dawn. But unlike many in the entertainment beat, Peter does things differently. Sharp and pointed without being nasty, he has built a career on fair reporting rather than chasing cheap, salacious gossip. It’s the exact reason the biggest stars in the world still trust him and answer his calls. What You'll Hear in This Episode: 40 Years on the Beat: Looking back at four decades of covering the entertainment industry and navigating the media landscape. Integrity in Showbiz: Why turning down trashy tabloid gossip earned Peter the respect of major celebrities. Leaving Melbourne: Peter breaks the news on his decision to trade Victoria for warmer climates up north. Tributes & Reflections: A look back at industry icons, including the late Derryn Hinch.
