Francisco Bonet Serrano, más conocido como Paco Bonet, es uno de esos jugadores míticos de la historia del RCD Mallorca. Criado en Mallorca tras mudarse con su familia, el servicio militar en Palma le permitió jugar en el Luis Sitjar el curso 1980-81, en Segunda B. Marcó 16 goles y consiguió el ascenso a Segunda. Impresionó por su presencia, su clase y su salida de balón. Fue un central diferente. Tras su paso por el Mallorca volvió al Elche CF, que tenía sus derechos. En 1982 fichó por el Real Madrid, pero tras dos años muy buenos, las lesiones de rodilla condicionaron su carrera. En 1986 volvió al Mallorca de Serra Ferrer, ya en Primera División. Estuvo dos temporadas, la segunda, de nuevo, marcada por unas lesiones que pusieron fin a su carrera. Internacional con España, es uno de los futbolistas con más clase que pasaron por el Sitjar.
