For the past 4 weeks Mixing it Up with Maggi honored Latinx culture and the Halloween season by telling scary stories from Latin America. ------- Our last scary story in this series for 2017! This week, I'm so thankful to my friend Jayra who joined me and my sick voice as we told and discussed the Latin American legend of El Cuco. We found the origin story (from Spain) but we definitely added our own Dominican point of view.
