Ultima Online is such a great game that it continues to be played today, even with the limitations of its engine; the non-online Ultima games are still worth playing through if you can get used to the archaic quirks of DOS, even Akalabeth. It should be noted however, “worth playing” does not necessarily mean “worth beating.” Someone named Diz made a modern soundtrack for Ultima Online, aptly titled Recall, to improve upon its aging MIDI tracks.
