Mizzou Claims 1960 National Title | Missouri Tigers Football News

Mizzou just claimed the 1960 national championship—yes, that undefeated, Navy-beating, AP No. 1 squad—and got unanimous Senate approval for it. With four other schools also claiming the title, it’s a historic rewrite decades in the making. Athletic director Laird Veatch and Sen. Eric Schmitt praised the team’s legacy, even tossing shade at Kansas.
