Mizzou Lands Defensive Gem Kobe Rhymes

Mizzou just landed a defensive dynamo in Kobe Rhymes, a high-energy linebacker prospect with the speed and frame to be a tackling machine. Though he played running back in high school, his future is clearly on defense—where his north-to-south burst and instinctive playmaking could make him a Kentrell Brothers-type star if he develops. He’s primed to shine on special teams as a freshman, and while he may need time to crack the starting lineup, his physical gifts are undeniable. This is a major win for Mizzou, especially snagging a top in-state recruit from a competitive region, proving Coach Drinkwitz is building something special by developing overlooked Missouri talent.
