Mizzou Lands Florida WR Derrick McBride

Missouri Football Secures Commitment from Unranked Wide Receiver Derrick McBride: The Tigers add another piece to their 2026 recruiting class, snagging Derrick McBride, a 63, 190-pound wide receiver from Lakeland, Florida. Despite not being ranked by major recruiting sites, McBride chose Mizzou over offers from Houston and Kansas State. He joins a group of three-star wide receivers and will likely be behind them in the playing time hierarchy. This commitment marks the third Florida recruit for Mizzou in this class, following Jabari Brady and Johnnie Jones. McBride is the third new face added since spring practice, and his commitment may signal the end of recruitment for the 2026 class.
