Mizzou Lands Three-Star DL Dami Sowunmi

Mizzou locks in another key piece for their 2027 class with the commitment of three-star defensive lineman Dami Sowunmi, the 10th pledge. Standing 6-foot-4 and packing 260 pounds, Sowunmi brings smooth athleticism and elite body control, excelling at navigating blockers and delivering solid punches. Though not the flashiest athlete, his versatility—especially with potential to add weight and play inside against the run—makes him a valuable developmental prospect. With schools like Indiana and Cincinnati also in the mix, Mizzou’s swift move under coach Eli Drinkwitz underscores their strategic depth-building on defense for the future.
