Mizzou's Barrett Departs, Tigers Seek Replacements

Caleb Barrett, a sophomore guard from Mizzou Tigers, had a breakout season, averaging 8.6 points, 2.7 rebounds, 3 assists, and 1.2 steals per game after being inserted into the starting lineup. Despite being an unranked recruit, he emerged as the standout from the 2024 class. His departure, alongside other seniors, leaves the Tigers with three to four roster spots to fill, likely targeting guards in the transfer portal to rebuild their backcourt.
