MLB Draft 2024 Uncertainty Rising

The MLB Draft is just 23 days away, and with top college talent wiped out by the NCAA Tournament, the field is wide open—scouts are now eyeing 15 potential first-rounders instead of a tight few. UCLA’s Logan Reddemann, once a top-2 college arm, is rehabbing from a flexor strain and will throw at the Combine next week. The White Sox, Rays, and Twins are expected to take the top three picks—Roch Cholowsky, Vahn Lackey, and Grady Emerson—but surprises are possible. Teams are still debating college bats vs. high school arms, with players like Justin Lebron and Tyler Bell in the mix. This draft? Unpredictable—and worth watching.
