Yes, yes indeed. We are here. Daily Spread Podcast, Techstyle's in the building. Bill's big loan on the track, Tarlem.

Yes, yes. All right, we here with the MLB breakdown, July 19, 2024, Gregorian calendar year. Again, I'm your host, Techstyle's, resident Kappa at Daily Spread Podcast. And we've been looking over the slate today.

I ain't gonna hold you. We've been looking over the slate. All-Star weekend was good. All-Star weekend.

Shout out to All-Star weekend. Show me that thing though. National anthem is tripping though. She said she was drunk.

She checked herself in or something like that, allegedly. So all the best to all of that. You know what I mean? Wellness.

We all about wellness on the Daily Spread Podcast for sure. I wasn't feeling too good with myself last night, so bear with me. I'm here though. We making it happen.

We are making it happen, man. So yeah, man, I'm looking at this slate. You got a game that's starting very shortly. And other than that, you got afternoon games.

You got the Arizona Diamondbacks versus the Chicago Cubs. And the Chicago Cubs opened at the, it seemed like they opened at the favorite. They opened at the favorite on most books. Bet Rivers wasn't trying to hear it.

And now they ballooned up crazy. But are the Diamondbacks live here? That's my question. Diamondbacks might be live here first half, man.

I mean, Steele hasn't been, all right, let's bring the music down. Steele hasn't really been what he's projected to be, right? Hold on, I need my phone. Hold on, hold on, hold on.

Yeah, I just have to make sure that I'm in on that action. So let me check my, check what's going on. Usually it's written down, so I could really get my, keep my eyes on it. All right, let's see here.

All right, all right. We're not mad at it. We on them. We on them.

So, all right, and here's the thing. I'm not here to give away, like give out plays and be like, yo, I got the picks and stuff like that. Right, especially not in sports that I'm not winning in. But like, if I say like, yo, this is the play, then that's the play that I like, right?

And if you play it and it wins, then it's winning. It wins or whatever. And if you want to tip me, dollar sign B-R-O-O-K-L-Y-N-T-E-X, like Texas, Brooklyn Tex. We got on a green shirt.

And yeah. Again, that's dollar sign Brooklyn Tex, like the first three letters of Texas if you want to, you know what I mean? I just got to put that out there. We on Patreon as well if you want to support via Patreon.

We on Patreon as well. And we're working on getting back on YouTube. Looking to take this to YouTube rather. We've been on YouTube for a while.

You can go to the channel Daily Spread Podcast. Subscribe over there. And we're going to do our best to get content rolling and rocking on that side. All right, so yeah, these Chicago Cubs, they make me nervous, man.

They make me nervous. I got a parlay. I might have to swap them out for Arizona in the parlay. Right?

Because I don't know, man. I just don't feel them. So we're going to try that one too. We're going to try that one.

We're going to try something. You know what I'm saying? Only because in this kind of a spot, I like how Arizona plays. They're a sneaky team.

Like, you can't take your eyes off them. So got to be careful. And now Tuchman might not play and Jock Peterson. So it's a lot of foolery going on over there.

So be careful with that one. It's Friday. You know, you don't want to get cracked on a Friday. You want to do the cracking.

You want to bring it home. All right, so the next one on the board we got here is the Phillies at the Pirates. Battle of Pennsylvania Major League Baseball teams here. Martin Perez, he's starting.

He's got a good record against these Phillies in his career. It's 4-1 in his career against Phillies. Isn't that interesting? Nine appearances dating back to 2014.

Only lost one game in 2021 when he was with Boston. And here's the interesting thing here, right? He played in the All-Star game. When was he in the All-Star?

Last season or the season before last. And we're coming right off of All-Star. Part of me, the player in me is like, man, all these guys that I'm playing against without the All-Star game, you know, I got to bring it. I got to bring it today.

Like, that's how I'm feeling. So hopefully I'm not wrong, you know, in my assessment with that, leaning to them in the first half of the game. Maybe they can make something happen there. Phillies, of course, one of those teams you expect to get crazy.

But again, they just coming off All-Star break. A lot of guys out there. So that's the issue for me. So, you know, you got Baum, you got Harper.

And I don't know, I didn't see Schwarber, but I'm thinking he was out there. You know? Home run derby or something. I don't know.

A lot of pitchers got elected, but it didn't play. But still don't know. Next game, though, on the board, you got Cincinnati Reds at Washington Nationals in the line. It's moving on some of these books here in that one right now as we speak.

And the Cincinnati Reds look strong, man. Freddie Montas on the mound, though. And Patrick Corbin on the other side. Here's the thing, though.

First half of the season, a lot of teams been winning against dogs in this kind of a spot. What am I seeing here with Oakland? Because I got to look at this homework here. Oakland wins, but they're not the favorite no more.

I got to fix this. Hold on. Hold on, let me see what happened there. Oakland, Oakland, where's that game?

It just disappeared from my... All right, there it is. All right, so Oakland opened as the favorite on the dog on some books, but then they became the favorite. Now it's an even line.

Okay, now it's an even line. Okay. Hey, man. It's an even line now.

I don't know. I feel like... I kind of like, I kind of like the Angels now. Right?

I kind of like the Angels now. Got to be careful with that game. Got to be careful with that game. Kind of like the Angels now.

Real talk. Angels. About to see something here, man. Got to try something here, man.

Got to try something here, man. You know? All right, so... Didn't have to, but want to.

Right? Because discipline and composure is where it's at. But I'm experimenting with some things first day back in the mix. At the same time, knowing that there's never a bad reason to, like, throw some things in the mix that you like.

Might be lucky. Those that don't know. Info at Daily Spread Podcast is where you can email me. We can chat.

All right, let's continue on. I'm just looking at some things. I don't know how that game ended up there, how we ended up there, how we skipped through all of these games. Cincinnati Reds and Nationals.

We were talking about that one. Interesting matchups here. Yankees, they face Tampa. Yankees a big favorite.

Garrett Cole on the mound. I kind of like that. Seeing as Cole has been playing pretty well. Yankees at home.

Nice weather out here in New York City. Detroit, they play against the Blue Jays. Flaherty against Bassett. Never really a fan of Bassett as a favorite.

I don't know. I'm thinking that the Tigers could get to them. They're that type of pesky team. They cover well, too, in this type of a spot.

So, that's something to think about there. The Mets, they face the Marlins. Mets the favorite. Mets had a couple guys there at the All-Star weekend, too, man.

Something to think about there. Padres at Cleveland. Sean Minaya against Edward Cabrera. Should be a nice one there.

Cleveland, of course, is the team that people like right now. Cardinals, they got the Braves. Kind of like the Cards here. Oh, Ramon Laureano's playing.

Ooh. So, that might be a boost to the lineup for the Braves. However, it's going to be tough to get past the Cards. I know that.

Sonny Gray, he's going to have to try to pitch well. He's not been good against these guys at all in his career. Rangers at home. They were the dog on a lot of books.

Now, they slide into even money on some books versus the visiting Orioles. Orioles had the Gunnar guy. You know, a couple guys at the All-Star break, too. They're missing an outfielder.

Evan Carter out, too. But he's been out for the Rangers. Nathan Ivaldi on the mound against Corbin Burns. That should be a good one.

White Sox, they face the Royals. Royals a big, big favorite at the crib. Is that too big of a favorite for them? So, got to be careful.

Chris Flexing is still a pro. Michael Waka has been good. Wacha has been solid. You got the San Francisco Giants.

They visit Colorado Rockies. I'm kind of speeding through this because, again, I'm not feeling too well, ladies and if you're lucky for Boston. So that's gonna be a fight. Low key, I like Boston's chances to cover at least.

So with that being said, remember, you're off this deadly spread podcast, Brooklyn Tech, and we made it through this episode. Hope y'all feel good. I'm gonna go get me some rest, man. You're already Uno.
