Nine years ago on Thursday [7th May] Mansfield Town had their eyes on glory, taking on Darlington at an Amber and Blue soaked Wembley Stadium – fighting for the FA Trophy. Arguabley the worst Stags side in recently history had defied the odds to reach the final, and played out probably the dullest cup final ever to grace the national stadium.
