She is originally Austrian, having studied at the University of Vienna from 1988 to 1995. She holds master's degrees in Physical Education and English. In the last 18 years, she has focused on MRT (Motor Remedial Teaching) and lately, on the dynamic school day (learning with movement). Michaela has completed several training sessions in the Netherlands with renowned educator Wim van Gelder. She has learned so much from him and has been inspired by his work. Michaela has presented the MRT program at two international ECIS conferences for international schools in Barcelona and Düsseldorf in 2018 and 2019. Her biggest goal is the well-being and movement of all children. "I love a holistic approach and integrating theory into practice."
