His responsibilities included all aspects of the deal process, such as financial modeling, performing due diligence, creating marketing materials, and coordinating deal execution. Before joining Houlihan Lokey, Marshall worked in Business Development and Marketing for Alibaba Group’s Tmall.com, where his responsibilities included working with international brands to reach Chinese consumers through China’s largest brands and retail platform. Prior to his time at Tmall.com, he was part of Alibaba Group’s International Business Development and Marketing team to attract and educate international buyers to conduct business on the world’s largest wholesale trade platform, Alibaba.com. Marshall holds a B.S. in Business Administration and a minor in Chinese from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and an MBA from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business.
