Mo(ses) Leadership Development: 24/6

from Momentum Church Podcast

Moses didn’t think he had what it took to be a leader. After all, when God asked him to be a leader Moses was short-tempered, he spoke with a stutter, and he was “just a shepherd.” However, God later showed Moses that it was His power that was important in the equation, and He used Moses to lead the Israelites out of Egyptian slavery. Now Moses and his 2 million followers are camped at the base of Mount Sinai, and they have just received the Ten Commandments. But before they head off to the Promised Land that God is directing them toward, Moses has some new leadership challenges to face. Moses is overwhelmed, but He is being forced to rely on God more and more in the process. These stories are the final major narratives in the biblical book called “Exodus.”
