How to Destroy Social Awkwardness, Associated with Aspergers, and Become a Certified Ziglar Legacy and Keynote Speaker!Disability - dis·a·bil·i·ty - a physical or mental condition that limits a person's movements, senses, or activities; a disadvantage or handicap, especially one imposed or recognized by the law. Men, I have had the pleasure of talking with many men who have been labeled with various "Disabilities", both physical and mental. I'm actually a disabled Veteran and have the license plates on my truck to prove it. While that is a condition, I and others experience, that condition is not who you are, and should not define you. Regardless of your physical and mental condition, you have extraordinary abilities. All you have to do is decide who you want to be seen and labeled as, and start becoming that person. Don't worry about how. Just decide right now. Today. That's exactly what our feature guest did.Meet our feature guestTucker Bearden is a Keynote Speaker, Theoretical Physicist, and Aspergers Advocate. He was born with a neurological abnormality that hinders ones natural ability to understand social cues as well as emotional responses known as Asperger’s.The more people that are around, the harder it is to sustain his composure so imagine a leisurely stroll through Walmart becoming a horrifying experience that leaves you hospitalized with life-threatening panic attacks.Throughout his life, he was fired from over 20 different jobs because of his lack of communication skills. After enduring homelessness, addiction, multiple failed suicide attempts, and a long walk through the darkness, he found his purpose in serving others by sharing the knowledge he has been blessed with.[spp-tweet tweet="“If you can be the spark that lights the way through the darkness for even a single person a day, your time will have been well invested and your life will have been worthwhile” -Tucker Bearden"]It was a long road learning how to control his self around others. There are still challenges and he struggles at times but if you believe in something enough to push towards it EVERY SINGLE DAY no matter the trials and tribulations, you will achieve the greatness you are designed for.So where did all this begin? He got a job working with thoroughbred racehorses as a farm handAfter a few years, he became a groom which is twice the pay and ten times the work.He worked seven days a week, three hundred sixty-five days a year but he loved the connection he had with the animals.See, he doesn't connect with people very well but with animals, it is a completely different story. He can feel what they feel. He is comfortable around them. There is no anxiety or tension.Since they worked every day and most days were mornings and afternoons, he had to find a way to entertain my self.So he started looking for videos on Youtube and came across something known as TEDx… His world changed forever. He felt a FIRE light in his soul! He had found his purpose! He knew THAT was whatHe was supposed to do!So he had to formulate a plan to overcome this dangerous level of anxiety he had, and in a flash, it came to him. PIZZA!!!He began taking $50 out of every paycheck and going to Little Ceasers to get six Hot & Ready Pizzas each day.He had a bicycle with a bungee cord so he rode his bike around town and found homeless people. He would give them a pizza and ask them to tell him their story. He did this every week for nearly a year before he began feeling comfortable talking to people.Much wisdom was shared, many friends were made and within all of it, the man he is today was born.Your greatest challenges will become your most POWERFUL...
