Mobile Bay, Dauphin Island and Gulf Shores Fishing Reports for November 4-10, 2024

from Alabama Saltwater Fishing Report · host Butch Thierry

The Alabama Saltwater Fishing Report is your best resource for the Gulf Shores Surf Fishing Report, Orange Beach Fishing Report, Dauphin Island Fishing Report, Mobile Bay Fishing Report, and Alabama saltwater fishing everywhere in between. For the anglers looking for an Orange Beach Fishing Report, Gulf Shores fishing report and Fort Morgan fishing report, look no further than the Alabama Saltwater Fishing Report. This week we bring you an "nearshore" report for those anglers interested in a gulf shores report. This week we're talking to Capt. Ben Knight who is giving us the Alabama Fishing report all the way from the Flora Bama to Fort Morgan. Capt. Ben has been very successful with redfish inside the pass and outside the pass. He gives great information on how to locate these bulls and how to catch them when you do find them. Capt. Ben is seeing excellent numbers of flounder just South of the beach over around the orange beach, Gulf Shores area. He tells us where and how to target these flounder as they are moving out offshore.  For our guys looking for the Dauphin Island inshore fishing report or the Orange Beach Inshore Fishing Report, Capt. Shane Traylor has what you need to know to catch more speckled trout, redfish, and tripletail and how to catch each of these species in the area. The tactics and tips we discuss here each week can be applied to many areas when fishing Alabama's coast and other states along the Gulf of Mexico. Captain Shane has the speckled trout dialed in. We talk grubs, throwing the Big Slick and the lil slick. What colors have been working and you may be surprised how Capt. Shane has been working his lures to catch these fish. Cadence, bait profile and presentation seem to be very important right now.  For the Alabama Fishing Report offshore and the Gulf fishing report, tune in for this week's report with Thomas Hilton. You never know what you might get in the offshore Gulf Fishing report each week. We cover nearshore fishing from Captain's running center consoles and fishing for red snapper, grouper, triggerfish, king mackerel, cobia, and more. When we head to blue water, we have contributions from some of the best Captain's on the tournament circuit and off who fish for tuna, wahoo, mahi-mahi, and billfish. We talk with Tom and get an offshore snapshot from the satellite imagery that he is seeing right now. We talk about patterns and how to figure out what conditions were/are present when fish are around and how to reverse engineer the ingredients to replicate the recipe for success.  It's all brought to you whether it's good, bad, or ugly. Please subscribe, rate, and review wherever you listen to podcasts and if you'd like us to email you the podcast, just head over to greatdaysoutdoors.com/asfr and we'll send you the new show each week. {Full Disclosure: This post may include affiliate links.
