Moccasin Creek Restoration Project

 I explore the new Moccasin Creek Restoration Project in Aberdeen, South Dakota. The project is a much need intervention in the local waterway that flows through Aberdeen. An ongoing project for 40 years, the creek is finally receiving a much needed facelift.  Interviews from Mayor Travis Schaunaman and Tom Johnson, both Aberdeen natives offer an inside perspective of the project. Mayor Schaunaman offers information of why this project is important, the efforts to get it off the ground and the overall benefits to the community. Tom Johnson offers his perspective on why the project is important to him and how it can benefit others in the Aberdeen area.
