How do we bring our Christianity into our relationships? Our relationships are actually the primary place we should see it. What is going on in your mind and heart comes out in your speech. In Daniel, captured slaves shared their faith King Nebuchadnezzar. Jesus wasn't born rich or famoous, but rather in humility. In 1 Peter 3, wives are instructed to "likewise" submit as Christ did. The foundation of relationships is humility as you count others worthy of your life, time, energy, thoughts, and love. Not that they are worthy, but rather that you esteem them worthy. Humility comes first making submission easy. When all that matters to you is you, you will have broken relationships and people will become expendible to you. Your marriage whould start with you waking up in your bed, turning, and looking at your spouse and wanting to model Christ to them. Own your marriage and own your spouse, because you chose it. Whether it was a good or poor decision, own it and let your marriage polish you. To be polished like fine jewlery takes friction. Wives who point out their husband's sin with verses are sinning for it is not their place but rather the pastor, godly men, or God's job to correct them. Win them without a word. Win them with your behavior. Men watch more than listen; while women listen more than watch. Show him your conduct without a word. Your desire should be to win him for his eternal state for Christ.
