Model presented for Jasper art project

Three versions of a J-shaped bench were presented to the Jasper City Council for consideration during its March 10 meeting. The model benches were a precursor to a large scale outdoor sculpture planned for the Jasper City Park. Nichole Cross, the artist who will create the sculpture, was not at the meeting, but City Clerk-Treasurer Renae Jennings presented the differing versions of the bench and provided an update on the project.
